The first phase of the Imagine Iowa Great Lakes beautification project is underway in Arnolds Park. The old walkway leading from Broadway Street past Preservation Plaza down to the shoreline was removed early this spring with dirt work getting underway for the new promenade. This phase includes a gateway, widening of the path and more trees and plants.
