Imagine Iowa Great Lakes is launching an outdoor mural program in the Okoboji area. The organization will commission outdoor murals in sites primarily along the Highway 71 corridor. Artists will be selected from a pre-qualified roster of experienced muralists, artists and commercial painters based in Iowa and the surrounding states (Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri). Artists should have experience designing and creating wall murals or have experience designing and creating large scale paintings. Commercial painters interested in painting murals are also eligible to apply.
Qualifications from artists who are selected for the roster will be shared with site owners who will choose an artist to match their vision for the site.
